Khangela taps into the vast depths of local knowledge, ranging from Lectures read by Professors, to Field Trackers with generations of accumulated knowledge, all linked together during daily routines by Professional Guides. The wide range of experienced staff pass on all this knowledge in formal lecture rooms or walking in the African Bush, and will tackle all Topical Environmental issues head-on. It is worth noting that we will not replace your educational staff , nor will we take over the way you wish your groups to be educated . We have access to all teaching personnel , should you wish to use them . We become the vehicle for transporting knowledge to the right people, in the right place at the right time.
We believe a hands on approach is the best way to pass on all this collective knowledge. Therefore a large portion of our Trips are involed with monitoring on-going Research Projects. For example:
- Collecting Wildlife Population Census data
- Tracking Endangered Mammals
- Enumerating Vegetation Transsects
Not only is all this information immediately useful as an educational tool, it will also be used in the Research and Science Field of National Parks and Wildlife.
On the Library page you can find a document with more photographs of a recent trip. Enclosed are some suggested itineraries which have worked in the past. We hope this information will stimulate some interest, and we may hear from you in the future, with the possibility of working together.
